This Blog Has Been Archived.

Thanks for stopping by. Here you will find a partial archive of Summer Edward's Caribbean Children's Literature, a blog I wrote from 2008 to 2016. The blog originally had over 300 posts, but the vast majority of them have been deleted. What remains here are:

  • Interviews I conducted with folks in the children's and young adult literature community

  • Some posts about books I edited

  • A few guest posts

  • A few essay-type and tutorial-type posts that seemed worth keeping on the Web

I hope this archive will be useful to anyone interested in literature for young readers from the Caribbean. I don't mind if you quote from this blog as long as you give credit and include links back to the original post.

I no longer blog, but you can visit me at for information about my books and author activities.

Be well,
